I talk a lot. You can ask any one of my best friends and they will confirm this statement. When something pops into my head while around them, I’ll just say it. That’s why there are times when I can go hours without saying anything of real importance; it’s because I’m not around people I care about enough to engage in conversation, as awful as that may sound. I agree with both Joel and Clementine here. Talking at someone isn’t really communicating with them, but sometimes I get this urgent need to have people know that I care and engaging them in conversation is the easiest way to do that. I’m not a very open person about most things in my life. Very few, if any, people know many of my secrets. Maybe it’s because I don’t have many, but everybody has some. I talk to engage. I talk to gain trust. I talk to care. Does any of this even make sense?
